San nicolas de los heros. – The municipality of San nicolas de los heros announced that this February it will make a vaccination campaign against the disease available to citizens. influenza and other diseases.
Vaccination will be via drive thruwhose modules will be located in the Hacienda Los Morales Third Sector neighborhood, on Rómulo Garza Avenue and De Los Pinos Street.

In addition to influenza, San Nicolás will have drugs against the following diseases:
- Pneumococcus
- SRP-SR
- Hepatitis A
- Hepatitis B – Tetanus
- TDPA (Tetatnos for pregnant women)
- DPT (Dipteria, whooping cough and Parotitis)
To receive any of these vaccines, it is enough to bring the vaccination card, and according to what the mayor commented Daniel Carrillothe brigade will not be exclusive for Nicolaítas, since residents of any other municipality may attend.
There will be people belonging to the Mexican Social Security Institute (IMSS) at the site, who will be responsible for administering the injection.
Who can get vaccinated against influenza?
Everyone six months of age or older should get a flu vaccine each season, with few exceptions, such as children younger than six months or people with severe, life-threatening allergies to any of the drug’s ingredients.
People under 65 years of age can receive any of the flu vaccines that are available.
Let us remember that since the 2022-2023 season there are three types of vaccines, which are preferably recommended for people 65 years of age or older.
These vaccines are the following:
- Vacuna Fluzone High-Dose Quadrivalent
- Flublok Quadrivalent Recombinant Influenza Vaccine
- Fluad Quadrivalent adjuvanted influenza vaccine.
