Djurgården IF took a comfortable 2–0 victory against Skövde AIK.
That was the match – minute by minute.
***
1 min: Referee Glenn Nyberg blows his whistle and the match is underway at the Tele2 arena!
5 min: Goal! Lucas Bergvall puts in a ball that Deniz Hümmet pushes in to make it 1-0. Dream start for Djurgården!
13 min: It is the home team that has taken a firm hold on the match. Often easily gets through a rather hollow Skövde in the midfield.
15 min: Hümmet so close to scoring a similar goal again when Oskar Fallenius puts the ball in. However, the finish is not on target.
18 min: 2-0! Miro Tenho extends Djurgården’s lead with a header. Now the uphill is steep for the away team.
25 min: Lucas Bergvall is brought down in midfield and Skövde’s Armend Suljev is given a warning.
36 min: Rasmus Schüller goes for a low and hard shot, but Lindell saves without any major worries. Djurgården still in control of events.
42 min: Sweaty double save by Otto Lindell! Leach Holm goes for the finish and on the return tests Hümmet, but without a payoff.
Half-time: 2-0 at half-time, but the home lead could have been significantly greater. Djurgården has dominated pretty much the entire half and Skövde creates almost nothing going forward.
46 min: The second half has started! During the break, Skövde AIK can replace Filip Drinic, who replaces team captain Filip Schyberg.
55 min: Djurgården press for a 3-0 goal against a low standing away defence. Double finishes are fired, but nothing goes on target.
64 min: Hümmet presses Otto Lindell and kicks the goalkeeper a little lightly on the leg. Skövde gets a free kick – which the home crowd does not agree with at all.
70 min: The pace has slowed down in the match and Djurgården’s passing game is far from dazzling. Still 2–0, without any major scoring chances for either team.
74 min: 7,559 spectators are present at the Tele2 arena.
74 min: Leach Holm tries from far outside – but hits the post!
82 min: Felix Vá, who was otherwise alert in the second half, goes for a shot but Lindell manages to steer away.
90+1 min: At least four additional minutes await.
Final! Djurgården didn’t shine in the second half, but they won the match with a clear 2-0 against a Skövde side that didn’t have much to oppose. Thank you for joining us during the evening!
