Truckers Supporting Trump Threaten to Paralyze NYC in Boycott After Fraud Ruling

Truckers supporting former President Donald Trump are issuing a warning that their refusal to deliver goods to New York City could potentially paralyze the bustling metropolis. This comes in the wake of a bombshell ruling in Trump’s civil fraud case, where Manhattan Supreme Court Justice Arthur Engoron fined him a staggering $355 million for inflating his net worth to deceive banks and insurers.

Jennifer Hernandez, a trucker who has joined the protest against Justice Engoron’s decision, expressed her concerns, stating, “It could shut New York City down.” Hernandez emphasized that her intention is not to harm the people of New York but rather to make a statement. She explained, “If New York loses just 10% of the trucks that go in there, their prices are going to skyrocket on everything – from milk to eggs, to any type of goods that the consumer needs. When that happens, it’s going to cost everyone more money.”

The boycott movement has gained traction among other truckers, with several expressing their support on social media platforms. In fact, one individual even suggested that the boycott could last up to three years. In a video posted on TikTok, he delivered a stern message to New York City, stating, “Keep on f—ing around, you’re going to find out, New York.”

Conservative social media influencer Chicago Ray appears to have initiated the boycott. In a viral video clip, he announced that he had spoken to trucker colleagues who agreed to halt deliveries to the city starting Monday. According to Ray, 95% of truckers support the former president, and he assured his followers that freight company bosses would not be concerned about denied loads as they could simply redirect their services elsewhere.

The boycott movement caught the attention of Donald Trump himself, who took to his Truth Social network to express his appreciation. He wrote, “Such an honor to have so many Great Patriots on the side of freedom.” The former president also criticized President Joe Biden, claiming that his “Unfair and Dangerous Weaponization of Law Enforcement is a serious threat to Democracy.” Trump concluded his post with his signature slogan, “MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!”

Following the video’s viral spread, Chicago Ray decided to delete it from his social media pages, although he affirmed his continued support for the movement. In a statement, he clarified, “I stand with Trump % Truckers for Trump. Drivers can make their own decisions based on their families and their careers… I ain’t the leader of any movement. I’m my own man, period.”

While the boycott’s potential impact on New York City remains uncertain, the truckers supporting Trump are making their voices heard. Their protest against the court’s decision reflects a broader sentiment among conservatives who believe that the former president is being unfairly targeted. As tensions continue to rise, it remains to be seen how this standoff will ultimately unfold and what consequences it might have for the city and its residents.
