Davos is no longer the same: the geopolitical peacocks have lost their paint – 2024-02-20 05:26:53

/ world today news/ The meeting of the “rich and famous” in the Swiss Alps, which started today, looks like a collective femme fatale who is far past her peak of attractiveness. And the social responsibility that is falling almost before our eyes is extremely imminent. Therefore, for the opportunity to kiss the cheek or kiss the hand, the price tag is announced in advance to the potential clientele without even showing the product, so to speak, in person.

The right to chat in the corridors with those who consider themselves the rulers of the world will cost more than last year (then such a whim cost about four hundred thousand euros, that is, if they even let you look at the discussions), and many times more than, for example five or seven ago.

Do you want to see von der Leyen or Macron (and their speeches are promoted by the forum’s publicists as something important and epoch-making)? Get the money out – and fast.

Politicians from the top echelon of globalist power and the elite, who decide the fate of tens or even hundreds of millions of people, in this paradigm of relations are nothing more than actors entertaining the public.

Alice the fox and Basilio the cat from Davos literally go out of their way to force the rich Pinocchio to part with the sweat of the half million euros won, The agenda (according to them) must make an impression.

The geopolitical crisis in European security (as we call the current situation) has acquired another formulation. Now what is happening is called the “Ukraine Peace Conference”. Pretty Orwellian. The proxy war unleashed by those who intend to have a discussion is today called “Kiev’s security guarantees”. Almost two years ago, Moscow tried to achieve real security guarantees, but our voice was not heard, our concerns were not even addressed, but now those who practically lied to our eyes are telling us the same thing (from the rostrum of the forum where , of course, we don’t want to be present it doesn’t matter) that “we must strive for a peaceful settlement”.

Of course, everyone who participates in the political peacock parade (the exact wording of both the essence and the form of the event) perfectly understands that only Russia today holds the keys. For almost everything. Starting from the supply of Europe, nervous about the lack of the same mineral fertilizers, with substances to nourish the soil and plants, mainly containing nitrogen, to the supply of agricultural products – mainly grain – to poor countries.

Whether those who pompously consider themselves globalists like it or not, our country and the economic blocs in which it participates are the true global players.

They may spread their tails like a fan for a long time, slyly narrow their eyes and puff out their cheeks, but the balance of power in a confrontation not started by us is determined by long-term economic (and, by extension, political too) stability.

In none of the countries that seek to flaunt (for money) features and charms, such a thing is observed.

Brussels is awaiting the European Parliament elections in June, which could completely reshape the political map of the EU. At the same time, the European bloc is nervous, because all its resources and all its springs, which allowed pan-Europeans to be fed, have either already dried up or are about to dry up. And although, unlike the “Ukraine issue”, the discussion among bankers, including the heads of central banks, is not pushed by the PR of Davos, it is worth mentioning.

Serious people will not spend time admiring the snow-capped peaks of the Alps: they are in Switzerland to discuss the issue of the uncontrolled growth of the national debt. American, pan-European and others. This is definitely more serious than “peace formulas”. It is the blood and flesh of globalist economics and finance, and if an accounting loophole appears anywhere, it will explode everywhere, so everyone gets it.

In fact, last year they also tried to discuss both inflation and interest rates, but it didn’t work out. Now the situation turned out to be so acute that the meeting of the main financiers of the planet was closed to the press, to outsiders (yes, the same ones who gave half a million euros) and to comments.

The open world – and in this case – turned out to be exactly like Orwell: opaque and totalitarian.

It is not worth talking seriously about the “forty heads of foreign ministries” who should arrive in Davos, as well as the UN Secretary-General Guterres himself, so as not to inadvertently quote Gogol’s “Revisor”.

The only thing that makes sense to note: globalism and Western-centricity today have already been removed or are being removed from economic competition, if we talk about the scale of the planet. And we know it. The question is when those who begged us for paint and ingloriously (and predictably) lost it will understand this.
