A fan-inspired set concept from LEGO Ideas has crossed over with the world of LEGO Star Wars in a compelling but bespoke model.
21340 Space Age Tales, inspired by fan designer Jan Woznica, meets the original and prequel trilogies of Star Wars in a custom representation of Brick.chainis custom Star Wars postcard creations. Given the franchise’s connection to space, it’s an ideal crossover. However, one Reddit user took it a step further.
Redditor NC102A shared the results of his custom model on the forum and took the simply detailed models a step further by adding lighting, creating special instruction covers and a convincing box art design reminiscent of the original LEGO Ideas set.

Custom LEGO creations and remixes of official sets are by no means new, although it’s rare to see such projects taken to the next level and you could be forgiven for thinking it’s a real set. While there is no LEGO Star Wars official, it is a postcard-style model that the original Brick.chain models are based on 21340 Tales of the Space Age. The user has another build representing Mustafar, not shown in NC102A‘s creation.

Author Profile Jack Yates LEGO has been apart of my life since I was young. It all started when my brother passed on 7657 AT-ST to me. It took me through my early years, through school, and ultimately through my degree in journalism. I still have my entire collection proudly displayed, including my many NINJAGO sets, my favorite of all the LEGO Group’s themes. Outside Brick Fanatics I am an avid gamer and enjoy a good game of Dungeons & Dragons.
