This year Djurgården has signed players such as Malkolm Nilsson Säfqvist, Albin Ekdal, Samuel Leach Holm, Deniz Hümmet and Miro Tenho. Now the blue stripes look to sharpen the squad even more.
Nettavisen claims that Djurgården has received an offer for Peter Therkildsen, 25, accepted. According to the site, only the mandatory medical examination remains before the versatile right winger joins the Stockholm club.
The same information states that Dif and Therkildsen have already agreed on the terms of the personal contract. With that, the transition will be completed shortly, provided that the Dane gets the green light on the medical tests and that nothing unforeseen happens.
Furthermore, Nettavisen writes that the 25-year-old was missing when Haugesund trained on Monday. The club has not wanted to communicate any reason for the absence.
Therkildsen has played in Norwegian Haugesund since September 2020. There, he has since been recorded for eleven goals and 17 assists in 104 games. Earlier in his career, he has also represented clubs such as HB Köge, Naestved and AC Horsens in Denmark.
