A combined operation of 800 police and 200 soldiers, supported by a helicopter and droneshave ventured into Housing Partnera poor neighborhood, in the northwest of Guayaquil, on the morning of this Thursday, February 15, 2024.
The raid began at 05:00 and was called “New Dawn.”

The incursion took place in the context of the “internal armed conflict” decree in which President Daniel Noboa ordered the persecution of 22 gangs that he defined as terrorists.
