Since 2017, PAOK and AEK have run the federation with an overwhelming percentage of control of the electorate. This alliance stands the test of time and everything shows that the “two-headed” will once again elect their own administration in the EPO. In essence, there is no rival awe, if we consider that the last president of the federation, Takis Baltakos, was elected with a percentage of 90%! The ballot for the selection of the new “prime minister” of football will be held next summer, June or July, with Baltako unable to be a candidate due to age limit. For the same reason, Panagiotis Dimitriou (deputy president), Asterios Antoniou (first vice president), Clearchos Tzafferis (treasurer), Damianos Gavrielidis (EU member) will also be out of the executive committee, so there will be a radical renewal of the persons, while one position a woman will occupy the council for the first time.
The first reason for the nomination of the next EPO president is PAOK and what has emerged from the report is that Makis Gagatsis has expressed an interest in succeeding T. Baltakos.
