POLITICO, a subsidiary of Axel Springer SE that focuses on reporting on politics and political processes, is now also available with its first German-language offering. The daily email newsletter “Berlin Playbook” specializes in decoding the connections between German politics and placing them in a global context. Even before its launch, more than 10,000 people subscribed to the “Berlin Playbook”.
Subscribers will receive the “Berlin Playbook” from Monday, February 19, 2024, daily from Monday to Friday at 7 a.m. (subscribe here).

POLITICO was founded in 2007 and now employs around 1,100 people, including more than 500 journalists at seven editorial locations on two continents in seven time zones.
The German editorial team is based close to the political scene in the Axel Springer House in Berlin. Subscribers to the “Berlin Playbook” benefit from POLITICO’s global network of reporters right from the start.
The focus of journalistic work is in-depth research, classification and analysis of events in Berlin and a look beyond Berlin to all relevant political centers worldwide.
