On the New York subway tracks, between 167th and 170th streets in the Bronx, a human leg was found.
The shocking discovery occurred on Saturday afternoon, on the track of a 4 train. The authorities went to the station around 1:00 in the afternoon, after receiving the report.
For a few minutes, the incident caused interruptions in the metro service, but a little later it operated normally.
So far, authorities have not been able to provide further information about the case. They also cannot confirm if it was a collision or if the leg was thrown.
It is also unknown who the limb belongs to. There are no arrests, for now.
