The President of the Republic, Daniel Noboa arrived in Guayaquil on the night of February 13 accompanied by his wife Lavinia Valbonesi and their children Álvaro, two years old; and Furio, who was born prematurely in Miami on January 16, 2024. Noboa has been out of the country since February 10.
After his return, Noboa fulfilled his agenda in the province of El Oro, which began at 10:30 with a tour of the A Loma de Franco health center, located in Pasaje.
Then, as reported by the digital media First fruits, went to the Military Fort of Artillery Group Number 1, where he greeted the Security Block. Before the military, Noboa said that “today is an important day, Ash Wednesday, from which Ecuador is also being reborn, like the Phoenix (bird).”
Also, Noboa stated that “it is an ash left by people who hated the country in the past and the narco-terrorist groups, but today is a day of strength, courage, reflection and always a day of struggle until victory is achieved.”
At noon, the president met with young people, to whom he will announce new third-level scholarships in the Auditorium of the Technical University of Machala. At 3:00 p.m. a meeting with businessmen from El Oro is scheduled.
