The home win against SSK J20 extends the streak for Örebro Hockey J20

The victory streak continues for Örebro Hockey J20. Against SSK J20 at home in Behrn Arena on Friday, it was a victory again. The team won 4-1 (0-0, 2-0, 2-1) and now has seven wins in a row in the J20 National cont men.

– Good match from us today. I think we basically control the match over 60 minutes, said Örebro Hockey J20’s coach Oscar Dahlgren, after the match.

SSK J20’s coach Stefan Gråhns:

– We don’t deserve to win. Örebro is better than us in everything today, but we just have to take new steps, we have a match on Sunday again.

Neither team managed to score in the first period. Örebro Hockey J20 started the second period best and grabbed the lead with 2-0 through two goals by Tim Almgren. Örebro Hockey J20 scored two quick goals early in the third period and went from 2-0 to 4-0, goals by Melvin Fernström and Melvin Pettersson. That jerk decided the game.

Filip Hesselvall certainly reduced, but SSK J20 did not get closer than 4-1. Örebro Hockey J20 thus took a safe victory.

This means that Örebro Hockey J20 is still in the league lead, with 30 points after twelve games, and SSK J20 in fifth place with 17 points.

In the next match, Örebro Hockey J20 meets Mora away on Saturday 24 February 12.00. SSK J20 meets Linköping Sunday 18 February 12.00 away.
