Text of the draft law to expedite the deadline Entitlement to periodic bonuses And granting a special allowance to those not covered by the Civil Service Law, on a monthly grant disbursed monthly, to workers in the public sector and public business sector companies, which will be disbursed starting from March 2024.
The draft law stressed that the due date for the periodic bonus due to workers in public sector companies and public business sector companies will be accelerated, as this grant will be disbursed from the budget of these private private companies to equal the difference between the periodic annual bonus rate assigned to them and the rate of the special bonus scheduled for non-addressed state workers. The provisions of the Civil Service Law referred to in accordance with the text of Article Two of this law as a maximum.
This grant is calculated according to the same rules on which these companies calculate their periodic annual bonus. This grant does not include the basic wage, and is disbursed as a lump sum.
The legislation also addressed the situation of the worker whose basic wage and the bonuses and allowances he receives are less than (6,000) pounds per month after applying the increase mentioned in the first paragraph of this article. In this case, the worker’s income is increased by the difference, bringing the total amount he receives per month to the amount of (6,000) pounds. The competent ministers shall establish the rules for implementing the provisions of this paragraph.
