The actor was about to leave the country when the police found drugs in his bag.

Bill Skarsgård has no formal education in theater or film but, like his father and his brothers, harbors a rare ability to portray different kinds of characters.

Aside from acting, however, things have come together for the world star who has taken Hollywood by storm.
Drugs in hand luggage
Stoppa Pressarna can now reveal that Bill Skarsgård was arrested by police at Arlanda on October 5 last year. The star got stuck in security after drugs were found in his hand luggage.
It was 10.40 on Thursday morning when Skarsgård’s luggage was taken away into a space that was covered with a curtain.

Bill Skarsgård’s hand luggage was a green backpack and in it was a black plastic jar containing dried plant parts, which were assumed to be marijuana.
In the bag there was also a silver-colored smaller jar (grinder) with a dog’s head on the lid. The tool is used to finely distribute marijuana before it is to be smoked.
The suspected narcotics and the can were seized, according to the police’s preliminary investigation report, which Stoppa Pressarna has access to.
After an analysis at the National Forensic Center, NFC, it turned out that it was cannabis that Bill Skarsgård – somewhat surprisingly – tried to smuggle till Amsterdam.

The Dutch city is otherwise known as Europe’s number one marijuana city and Bill Skarsgård is probably part of an extremely exclusive group of people who have been caught for drug smuggling till Amsterdam.
The talented actor may need to be informed that he not need to bring sand to the Sahara or rice to China.
Police at Arlanda were nice to Bill Skarsgård, who is a very kind and humble person.
– Interrogations were held on the spot with the suspect and he was released and left the scene at 11.10, the preliminary investigation states.

Bill Skarsgård admits in the interrogation that he had the drugs in his backpack. The star states that he does not know how the marijuana ended up in the bag.
He claims that he lent the rucksack to friends before and that maybe that’s when the drugs were put there.
Bill Skarsgård cannot remember who or who borrowed the backpack from him. The hand luggage contained 2.43 grams of cannabis.
Bill Skarsgård is now being sentenced by the Attunda district court for minor drug offences.

The penalty is 40 daily fines of SEK 1,000, i.e. a total of SEK 40,000. The actor must also pay SEK 1,000 to the crime victim fund.
Do not use drugs
In the interrogation with the police, Bill Skarsgård pointed out that he does not use marijuana or other drugs.
Skarsgård was only 10 years old when he made his first role in the film “Järngänget”. The big breakthrough came when Bill was 20 years old and played the lead role of Simon in the film “There are no feelings in space”.
In recent years, it is mostly Hollywood that applies to Bill Skarsgård, who, among other things, has been praised for his role as it evil clown Pennywise in a remake of Stephen Kings76, horror novel “It”.
Bill Skarsgård won the Kristallen 2022 as “Male Actor of the Year” for his role as the bank robber and drug smuggler Clark Olofsson77, in the Netflix series “Clark,” which was directed by Jonas Åkerlund58.
Let’s hope Bill Skarsgård made it to Amsterdam and managed to avoid the city’s famous coffee shops.
