Libreville, February 16, 2024 (AGP) -As part of the investigations initiated by the National Commission for the Fight against Corruption and Illicit Enrichment (CNLCEI), against personalities suspected of illicit enrichment, the former secretary general of the (PDG , former ruling party), Steeve Diecko Nzegho and Abdoul Oceni Ossa, were interviewed this Friday, February 16, noted the AGP.
After the former political chief of staff of the president of the Gabonese Democratic Party (PDG), Cyriaque Mvouramdjami, and the former Central Director of Financial Affairs (DCAF) of Libreville town hall, Gisèle Yolande Mombo, the turn returned this Friday, to the former secretary general of the deposed ruling party, Steeve Nzegho Dieko, as well as Abdoul Oceni Ossa, son of Imam Ismaël Oceni Ossa, former president of the Superior Council of Islamic Affairs of Gabon (CSAIG), to be heard by the office of the National Commission for the Fight against Corruption and Illicit Enrichment (CNLCEI).
Under house arrest for Steeve Nzegho Dieko and in preventive detention at the Libreville remand center for Abdoul Oceni Ossa the day after the “ release shot » of August 30, 2023 which brought the Committee for the Transition and Restoration of Institutions (CTRI) to power, the accused are the subject of suspicion concerning their alleged involvement in acts of corruption, illicit enrichment and money laundering during their mandate.
Committed to the fight against corruption, the president of the CNLCEI, Nestor Mbou and his teams will receive in the coming days other personalities suspected of embezzlement of public funds.
