In January, Sara Skyttedal was pushed from the top spot on the Christian Democrats’ list ahead of the EU elections in June. The reason must have been that she had contacts with the Sweden Democrats and sought assignments in that party. Sara Skyttedal herself says in SVT’s interview program 30 minutes that it was about informal contacts where she offered to help make contacts in the EU during a time when she thought she would be unemployed.
The Christian Democrats’ party leader Ebba Busch has said that Sara Skyttedal can remain in the party and on the party board despite the sting from the EU list. But now Sara Skyttedal announces that she is leaving KD.
– I don’t feel that I trust a word, says Sara Skyttedal The Express about Ebba Busch.
However, Sara Skyttedal will remain in the EU Parliament as a political wild man until the end of the term.
– The work here continues until April, so there is not much time left. I have a few negotiation assignments left where we have to settle migration or border guard agreements, says Sara Skyttedal to Expressen.
