Video Emerges of Chaotic Ski Slopes After Après-Ski in Ischgl

For some winter enthusiasts who go to Alpine ski resorts, this also includes après-ski, or après-ski, which takes place in the pubs in the afternoons. However, both cannot always be combined. Now a video has appeared on Instagram that shows what happens after après-ski on the slopes of Ischgl.

Ischgl is considered the central place of ski parties, where the alcohol often “flows to and from slopes”, the local media wrote.

In his January 30 Instagram post, a user showed a slope where many skiers and snowboarders can be seen. Some of them still quite cleanly bend and descend in a controlled manner.

But most skiers and snowboarders obviously have big problems. They fall, crawl or slide down the ski slope on all fours, falling on top of each other. Some have already given up and are trying to complete the rest of the journey without skis or snowboards under their feet.

Are they all drunk?

An Instagram user added many hashtags to his post – #saufen, #piedzēries, #afterparty, #alcohol or #crash.

And the comments under the post were also clear. “Are they all drunk? Why do they drive like that? “What happened?” asked another user.

One commenter explained: “It’s a steep stretch after Taya where people get drunk until 4pm.”

He meant the “Paznauner Taja” mountain restaurant. The restaurant advertises “the best party atmosphere” and “unforgettable après-ski experiences” thanks to “thirst quenchers like Jagertee, mulled wine and of course fresh, cold beer.”

Therefore, it is no wonder that for many skiers or snowboarders, after leaving the inn, the descent from a height of 2,000 meters is like survival training, it is written in the comments.

“It’s sad when people are so drunk,” said another. “If I ever experience something like this, it will definitely be the last time I ski there,” said another user.

“You only go to Ischgl to drink, not to ski. “It’s Malle in the mountains,” it reminded someone else of a summer holiday in Ballermann, on the Spanish island of Mallorca.

Others only joked about the chaotic bustle on the ski slopes in Ischgl. “You could also use it as a screensaver. Very soothing.”

Ischgl in Tyrol is not only a popular holiday destination after-skiing because of the possibilities, but also attracts visitors in the summer with the fantastic mountain scenery. About 1.6 million tourists visit the region every year.
