on the subject “Legal basis and general terms and conditions legal requirements for price adjustments
Energy, telecommunications and rental contracts in the light of Union law”.
Consumers are confronted with sometimes dramatic price increases, particularly in the areas of housing, energy and telecommunications. The lecture examines the contractual basis of price adjustments in long-term obligations, discusses the implications of recent ECJ jurisprudence in the light of the principle of effectiveness under EU law, and provides an overview of current decisions, pending proceedings, as well as important legal developments and legal questions.
