Kolkata: Before the Lok Sabha elections, the alliance of opposition parties in India seems to be completely disintegrating. Due to lack of distribution of seats in different states, many parties of the alliance have announced to contest the elections alone. The two most important parties of the alliance, Trinamool Congress and Aam Aadmi Party, have already adopted the strategy of Ekla Chalo. Now there is a report that Trinamool chief Mamata Banerjee is busy cooking separate khichdi with AAP leader Arvind Kejriwal.

In view of this, Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee can visit Punjab on 21st February i.e. International Mother Language Day. It is also learned that this program has been finalized. However, why she is visiting Punjab is not yet clear. According to sources, the Chief Minister will visit Punjab on February 21. He has to go to the Golden Temple there. She can hold a meeting with AAP leaders in Punjab.

It is noteworthy that the role of Congress in the India alliance has changed. AAP and Trinamool have formed a policy alliance on some points. On one hand, Trinamool has announced to contest the elections alone in West Bengal, while AAP has talked about fielding candidates on all the seats in Punjab.

Congress has already softened its tone repeatedly. On the other hand, Mamata Banerjee has repeatedly called upon regional parties to contest the Lok Sabha elections. The importance of Mamata Banerjee in national politics has once again increased. In such a situation, meeting with AAP leaders before the Lok Sabha elections is undoubtedly being considered as Plan B of Mamata Banerjee.
