IT STRETCHES A LITTLE – With over 7 million units sold, the Skoda Octavia it is by far the most successful model of the Czech brand. Today, the fourth generation sedan and station wagon are updated to continue their success story. The restyling of mid-career brings a renewed front view thanks to the new grill and an updated bumper. They are also new go LED Matrix, optional for the Selection and Sportline trim levels and standard for the RS versions. New front and rear aprons have increased the length overall of 9 mm, now reaching 470 cm. New wheels and 10 body colors complete the exterior customization possibilities.
THE SCREEN WIDENS – Improves the standard equipment of the Skoda Octavia 4.5, which now includes a 10-inch infotainment screen, while it is also available in a 13-inch format as an option. L’artificial intelligence of ChatGPT is integrated as standard into the Laura voice assistant, allowing new features that go beyond previous voice commands. Dual-zone climate control is now standard on all models. In some of the nine available Design Selections (grouped around the four trim levels Essence, Selection, Sportline ed RS), sustainable materials are used including recycled fabrics and sustainably treated leather. Increase the level of safetythanks to the new and more reliable driver fatigue recognition system, and comfort in parking, with systems such as Intelligent Park Assist and Remote Park Assist.
SIMPLY SMART – A must for all models Skoda they are the solutions Simply Clever and the new one Octavia introduces new ones. For example, on the Octavia wagon it is possible to fit an automatic retractable luggage compartment cover to facilitate access to the load compartment. A. also makes its debut glove box designed to store rear passengers’ bags, glasses and bottles. The multifunctional pocket in the trunk now has two hooks, while the support optional for tablet on the backrest of the front seats is also available for sports seats. There is also the classic ice scraper in the fuel filler door and the umbrella in the door, both made from sustainable materials.
NO METHANE – The engine range of Skoda Octavia 2024 includes four petrol and two diesel units, all 4-cylinder. The entry level versions are represented by a 1.5 TSI petrol and a 2.0 TDI diesel, both with 115 HP and combined with a 6-speed manual gearbox. Like the 150 HP 1.5 TSI, the 115 HP variant is also optionally available with mild hybrid technology and a 7-speed DSG dual clutch transmission. The 150 HP 2.0 TDI is offered as standard with a 7-speed automatic transmission. The 2.0 TSIs both gain power and reach 204 HP (+14 HP) for the only all-wheel drive version and 265 HP (+20 HP) for the Octavia RS. For the moment, the methane variant currently on the list has not been confirmed.
