Nvidia Chat with RTX: AI-Powered Personal Chatbot Beta App for PC with RTX 30 or 40 Series GPU

Nvidia is releasing an early version of Chat with RTX, a beta app that lets you run a personal AI-powered chatbot on your PC.

You can feed it your YouTube videos and documents to create summaries and get relevant answers based on your own data. Everything runs locally on a PC, and all you need is an RTX 30 or 40 series GPU with at least 8GB of VRAM. According to theverge report.

I’ve been testing Chat with RTX briefly over the past day, and although the app is a little rough around the edges, it’s an important part of data research for journalists or anyone who needs to analyze a set of data, the report said.

Chat with RTX can handle YouTube videos, so you can simply enter a URL, and it lets you search text for specific mentions or summarize an entire video.

This is ideal for searching audio video files, especially for finding specific mentions in audio files over the past week amid rumors of a new shift in Xbox strategy from Microsoft.

However, it wasn’t ideal for searching YouTube videos, and I tried searching the transcript of a Verge video on YouTube, and Chat with RTX downloaded the transcript for a completely different video, and it wasn’t even one I’d queried before, so obviously there were errors. In this early demo.
