Patrick Mahomes twice rescued Kansas City Chiefs this Sunday and gave the touchdown pass to Mecole Hardman for the 25-22 victory in overtime against the San Francisco 49ers that gave Andy Reid’s team its second consecutive Super Bowl and the third in the last five years.
Mahomes was crowned with the third Super Bowl of his career and extended the dynasty of the Chiefs, who now display four Vince Lombardi trophies in their cabinets.
The 49ers extended their Super Bowl victory drought and have not won the NFL title since 1995. EFE
