The Regional Hemodonation Center has made an urgent call to citizens to donate blood, especially types A- and 0-, given the shortage of reserves in Murcia hospitals.
The requirements to donate are to be between 18 and 65 years old, weigh more than 50 kilos, reside in Spain and be in good health.
According to current reserve levels, the blood types for which urgent donation is required are 0- and A-, while those who are 0+, B- and AB- can donate in 2 or 3 days.
Those interested can do so at the fixed points set up for this purpose, located at the Regional Center, located at Paseo de Garay, 2, in Murcia, until 8:30 p.m., and at the Santa María del Rosell hospital, in Cartagena, until 2:00 p.m. .
In addition, this Tuesday blood extractions are carried out at the mobile points installed on the sixth floor of the Abenarabi building of the Murcia City Council and in the multipurpose room on the terrace floor of the Santa Lucía hospital in Cartagena, from 9:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
You can also donate blood at the medical office in the El Progreso neighborhood, in Murcia, and the Alhama de Murcia health center, from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
