Tlaxcala, Tlax; as of February 12, 2024 (Redaction). –Providing society with individuals capable of resolving complicated situations that afflict us in our daily lives is a priority for the Autonomous University of Tlaxcala (UATx), which is why, through the Faculty of Law, Political Sciences and Criminology, held the graduation ceremony of the 2019-2023 generation of the Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science and Public Administration, held in the “Manuel Lardizábal y Uribe” interactive auditorium.
Doctor Serafín Ortiz Ortiz, Rector of the UATx, highlighted that there is an enrollment of 223 students and a teaching staff of 61 academics, who throughout 38 years of life have graduated 1,751 students in the 45 generations that make it up, of which a high graduation rate of 75% is recorded, in addition to having accreditations.
He said that this discipline is very important in electoral processes, it is time to apply the theory of what has been learned and socialize it to ensure that Tlaxcala has better living conditions, where needs that society requires are met. He invited the graduates to stand out in political activity, as well as to be part of public bodies where they can praise their alma mater.
For his part, Mr. Dante Morales Cruz, Director of the Faculty, pointed out that upon leaving this educational stage they transition from the academic environment to the social reality where they will have to face a series of collective phenomena, for which he stated that according to their ability They will be able to present new options and innovative solutions to design other horizons.
Representing the graduates, José Alfredo de Fermín de Gante, expressed that they assume the commitment to be that factor of change that our society needs to look forward, with hope and determination. We cannot change what has already happened in the past, but we can influence our future, let us continue to be as critical and committed, he concluded.
