From now on, applicants have the chance to present themselves with outstanding marketing.
The award, presented every two years and presented by the Federal Ministry of Labor and Economic Affairs, honors particularly innovative and sustainable achievements in the field of marketing. As the Republic of Austria’s most coveted award in this field, the prize is selected by an expert jury and awarded by the Federal Ministry.
There are a total of six categories to choose from to put your company, agency, non-profit organization, authority or association in the spotlight:
- Public Services & Non-Profit Organisationen (NPO)
- Private services (e.g. financial services or tourism)
- Retailing/Handel
- Manufacturing Industry (production/commercial/industry)
- Digital Marketing (inkl. Dialog-Marketing)
- Employer-Branding
You also have the option to submit in three special categories:
- Life Marketing (Experience Management/Brand Touchpoints)
- Young Businesses (start-ups and new business areas)
- Sustainability (sustainable marketing concepts with ecological and/or social aspects)
Tag des Marketing 2024 – “The new Marketing World”
The Marketing Day 2024, organized by the Austrian Marketing Confederation (AMC), forms the informative and exciting framework for the awarding of the State Marketing Prize on June 17, 2024. Under the motto “The new Marketing World”, the Marketing Day 2024 will be held highlight relevant challenges for marketing decision-makers in the coming years.
The President of the AMC, Georg Wiedenhofer, is looking forward to a wealth of innovative and qualitative submissions: “This prize illustrates the importance of targeted and strategic marketing in challenging times and shows the diversity of the positive effects on companies and organizations, especially with regard to the Digitalization boost.”
Quality, relevance and innovation matter
Quality, business relevance and degree of innovation are decisive for the awarding of the State Marketing Prize – not the size of the company, industry or budget level.
The marketing services submitted must have been realized between the beginning of 2022 and the end of 2023 and must have resulted in significant company success. Whether regional, national or international – the service should have a clear connection to Austria as a location.

The Austrian Marketing Confederation (AMC) as the umbrella organization of all marketing clubs in Austria brings together over 3,000 marketing experts who hold leading positions in companies and markets. In addition to organizing the State Marketing Prize, the AMC plays a crucial role in imparting expert knowledge and integrating science and practice in order to keep pace with dynamic developments and implement current findings in business practice.
