Burgas journalist Krasimir Krastovski died – 2024-02-12 16:03:06

Krasimir Krastovski, whose name has been associated with Burgas journalism over the years, has died, his relatives announced, Black Sea Lighthouse reported.

A galaxy of famous journalists with whom he worked expressed their condolences and remembered him.

Krasimir Krastovski was born on August 7, 1962 in the town of Iskar, Pleven region. He lives, works and creates in Burgas.

Graduated from the “Institute of Culture” and “Bulgarian Philology” at the Neofit Rilski State University. He has a specialization in theater directing. Worked in the field of culture and as a journalist in local and national publications. Editor-in-chief of the periodicals: the newspapers “Burgas dnes”, “Kompass”, “Burgaska postha”, “Soleno morsko”, “Rodina” and “Kompass” magazine. Plays the guitar, has a sense of humor…

Divorced. He has a son and a daughter. Until recently, he worked as a teacher in “Hristo Botev” Elementary School, Burgas.

A year and a half ago, he published his two collections of short stories – “Extracurricular lessons” and “Zarzalke moya”. Although it was a debut in literature, the book was nominated for the annual literary awards of the Municipality of Burgas, it was also included in the competition lists for the National Short Story Award “Yordan Radichkov”. The second collection – “Zarzalke moya” was financially supported by the Municipality of Burgas Culture Fund.
