/ world today news/ A total of 55 deals worth a total of 13.6 billion yuan (1.91 billion US dollars) were officially signed on Monday by Chinese companies and their Russian business partners in Shenyang, the capital of Liaoning province.
The partnerships span sectors such as cold chain warehousing, financial services and international trade. They were signed at the Sino-Russian Economic and Trade Cooperation Conference held in Shenyang.
More than 100 entrepreneurs from Russia and other countries of the Eurasian Economic Union attended the event, along with representatives of Chinese enterprises, industry experts and scientists.
One of the major projects that will start operating very soon is a cooperation between the Shenyang Municipal Government and China Eastern Airlines, which will open a scheduled passenger air route between Shenyang and Moscow at the end of February.
