At 06.49, the emergency services went out after receiving a report of smoke in an apartment building in the center of Bergen.

That’s what West Police District writes on X on Monday morning.

Øvregaten is closed as a result of the fire, reports Vegtrafikksentralen.

– We received a report at 06.48 about a fire in a toilet. We have now been able to extinguish it, and are working on venting. No one should be injured after what we have received feedback about, says duty commander at the 110 central, Lars Petter Lorvik shortly after 07:00.
