Damián Suárez has already been called up to Uruguay’s senior team, while Mateo Ponte was competing in the Pre-Olympic with Celeste’s under-23 team. In addition to them, Botafogo has another Uruguayan in the squad: Diego Hernández, who hasn’t had many opportunities and wasn’t even on the bench against Flamengo.
