The Chinese market is preparing to receive the new electric car Volkswagen ID.7 S in the body of a sedan. It is produced by the SAIC-VW joint venture and is scheduled to be launched in the Chinese market in the near future. It is part of China’s ID.7 lineup, alongside the ID.7 Vizzion produced through VW’s partnership with FAW.
For the Volkswagen ID.7 S, it has a slightly different design. It was first introduced as the ID.Next concept car in April last year. It differs from the ID.7 Vizzion in that the front panel has been redesigned. The new model has a pair of distinctive headlights above an LED light bar.
The door handles look the same but the wheels are slightly different. The rear of the car has changed slightly. It measures 5,026 mm (197.8 in) long, 1,864 mm (73.3 in) wide, 1,537 mm (60.5 in) tall and has a wheelbase of 2,966 mm (116.8 in). inches), making it slightly longer than the FAW-VW ID.7 Vizzion, which measures 4,956 mm (195.1 in).
