First, the CBF will divide the teams into pots, following the entity’s national ranking regulations. With the duels defined, the teams will face each other in a single game, with the match at the home of the team with the lowest position in the ranking.
At this stage, the visiting team has the advantage of a draw. The second knockout games are defined by bracketing, also in a single game. However, in the event of a draw in regular time, the place will be decided through penalties.
