Editorial.- The accused of murder, former footballer and actor OJ Simpson has been diagnosed with prostate canceraccording to media reports international. Currently, these same sources point out, he is receiving chemotherapy in Las Vegas.
Simpson was acquitted in the 90s of double murder of his ex-wife, Nocole Brown Simpson, and her friend Ronald Goldman, in what is known as “the trial of the century.”
Los facts They occurred on the night of June 12, 1994: Nicole Brown was found dead in a pool of blood next to Goldman. After nine months the jury acquitted Simpson.
On the other hand, more than a decade after this, it was convicted and sentenced to prison by a jury of Las Vegas after participating in a robbery at gunpoint, in which he tried to steal souvenirs from his sports career. He came with five accomplices, two of whom were armed.
Thus, in October 2008, he was sentenced to between nine and 33 years in prison and was charged with twelve charges, including robbery, assault and kidnapping.
