His Excellency Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Tolerance and Coexistence, received in his palace yesterday, Evan Faiq Jabru, Minister of Immigration and Displacement of the brotherly Republic of Iraq.
At the beginning of the meeting, His Excellency welcomed the Minister of Immigration and Displacement in Iraq, and discussed with her ways to strengthen the strategic relations linking the United Arab Emirates and the Republic of Iraq to serve common interests. They also exchanged views on a number of regional and international issues of common interest.
His Excellency Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan stressed the UAE’s keenness to strengthen its relations with countries around the world, based on its well-established principles of coexistence, dialogue, peace, and human solidarity between societies and peoples, in order to achieve stability and prosperity at the global level.
His Excellency said that the UAE and the brotherly Republic of Iraq are linked by strong fraternal relations, strengthened by bonds of joint cooperation in various fields and sectors, in order to achieve the aspirations of the leadership of the two brotherly countries and their people towards a more developed and prosperous future.
