Saxony-Anhalt residents are going to the cinema more again

At the end of the corona pandemic, people in Saxony-Anhalt went to the cinema more often again. As the State Statistical Office announced on Thursday, Saxony-Anhalts went to the cinema around 0.9 times per year in 2022. This corresponds almost exactly to the German average.
In previous years, there were significantly fewer cinema visits at the beginning and peak of the corona pandemic. According to statistics, people went to the cinema 0.4 times in 2020, and 0.5 times in 2021. Before the pandemic, there were an average of around 2.7 cinema visits in Germany.
