Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever Spike in Banjarmasin Prompts Mayor to Issue Urgent Circular Letter for Community Action

Cases of dengue hemorrhagic fever (DBD) in Banjarmasin have experienced a spike. There has even been one death case.

“The fever does not go down even though you are taking medicine. Take him to the hospital immediately and have your blood checked. If it is positive for dengue fever, it can be treated as soon as possible,” concluded Tabiun.

Separately, the Head of West Banjarmasin Subdistrict, Ibnu Sabil, admitted that he had asked the village heads to mobilize the heads of neighborhood associations (RT) to hold mutual cooperation.

“The circular has been distributed to nine sub-districts in West Banjarmasin,” said Ibnu. Currently, the number of dengue fever cases has increased from 17 cases to 22 cases. With one death case in Telaga Biru, West Banjarmasin at the weekend (4/2).
