Linda, Tobbe and Mats are back in the TV box and once again wish us a warm welcome back to Köping. In the season premiere, midsummer celebrations are on the schedule and there will be a lot of talk about love and dating.

Long-awaited season premiere for the gang in “Welcome to Köping” 2024
Now the viewers get again the chance to follow the tight group of friends from Köping with Linda, Tobbe and Mats at the head. We also get to meet old familiar faces like Ride and Sofia and Johan.
We are looking forward to a thunderous season with travel content, a lot of Swedish celebrities, but above all a focus on dating!

Seven kinds of flowers
Midsummer celebrations are on the schedule in the season’s first episode of Welcome to Köping and the day before Midsummer Eve itself fits the three singles Linda, Jonas and Sofie on picking flowers to test if the old “flower trick” to find love works.
According to tradition, you must pick seven kinds of flowers in silence, climb over seven hedges and then put the flowers under your pillow on Midsummer Night, then according to the old custom, you should be able to see in your dream who you will live the rest of your life with. However, the gang is content to just pick flowers and hope that is enough.
It is now 1.5 years ago Linda’s great love Lars-Åke passed away and now she feels she is ready to dare to meet someone new. Linda’s biggest plan for the season is therefore to meet a new man. Preferably a kind, funny and stylish one.
– The only thing you need to do is date, you don’t need to be afraid. Out on a date yes. Now I hope I find love, when I picked seven flowers, says Linda.

Mats takes help by Åke to fix the midsummer pole and in the meantime they go into depth about how things are really going for Mats after his marriage to Sofia last year. Sofia feels that she wants to move back home to Falun, something that Mats does not feel at all about.
– I have my friends here. I feel a little sad, I love her very much but, does she want to stay with me? says Mats while the tears are flowing.
The conversation with Åke helps Mats think about other things and in the end they get a solid bar together. Next in turn, Johan goes home to Åke to prepare which snap songs the gang will sing, the favorite being “To the booze company”. Next up is the sandwich cake competition on the schedule, where the gang will vote on whose cake is the best of Mats and Sofia. It will be a tough fight where Sofia takes home the win and Mats, as the loser, has to do the dishes at home all week.
This year’s midsummer celebration gets top marks from everyone involved and Linda goes so far as to call it “the best Midsummer celebration ever”.
