Every photo is iconic! And if you are creative enough, it can ensure you a win in our new competition, which we have prepared for you together with the Czech representation of the Xiaomi brand. There will be a total of three rounds of competition – one will run each week, so you can try your luck three times. Separate prizes are determined for each competition round.
How to join the competition?
Each of the competition rounds has its own specific photography theme. This round it’s “What do my eyes see…“. There are no limits to creativity in this case, and it’s up to you how you approach the given topic. The condition is that it is your picture and that it was taken with a mobile phone.
Then just upload it to your profile on one of the social networks (Instagram, FacebookThreads or X) and add a hashtag #RedmiSoutez. In the case of Instagram, tag the official profile @Xiaomi.Czechthere is no need to mark the profile for other social networks. It is important that the post is public and contains the mentioned hashtag (and in the case of Instagram, also the marked profile). Without it, we will not be able to recognize it and include it in the competition.
Until when can you compete?
The first competition round is ongoing from Wednesday 7th February to Tuesday 13th February. Until then, you can upload your photos to the aforementioned social networks. Each participant can participate in a given competition round with only one photo.
How will we evaluate?
Our jury consisting of members of the SMARTmania.cz editorial team and representatives of the Xiaomi brand will subsequently select the two most original photos in each competition round. We will primarily evaluate imagination, creativity and originality.

The author of the best photo of the first competition round will receive a smartphone Redmi Note 13 Pro 5G worth CZK 8,990 (8/256 GB). The author of the second best picture will win a smart watch Xiaomi Watch S1 GL worth CZK 4,990.

Competition rules
1. The organizer of the competition is SMARTmania s.r.o Rybná 716/24, 110 00 Prague 1, ID number: 026 64 569, registered in the commercial register maintained by the Municipal Court in Prague under no. trade mark: C 222000, as the operator of the SMARTmania.cz server (hereinafter referred to as the “Organizer”).
2. The competition takes place from February 7, 2024, 1:30 p.m. to February 13, 2024, 11:59 p.m. Contest rules are valid from February 7, 2024.
3. Citizens of the Czech Republic over the age of 18 and persons with permanent or habitual residence in the territory of the Czech Republic may participate in the competition. Contestants under the age of 18 may only participate in the contest with the express written consent of their legal guardian. The minor winner is obliged to document this consent at the Organizer’s request.
4. Only contestants who upload their own photo taken with a mobile phone to one of the social networks (Instagram, Facebook, Threads or X) have a chance to win. The post on the social network must be set to public and have the hashtag #RedmiSoutez. Without meeting these conditions, we will not be able to find the photo and include it in the competition.
5. From all the correct answers for the given competition round, a jury consisting of members of the SMARTmania.cz editorial team and representatives of the Xiaomi brand will then select two winners. The author of the best photo will receive a Redmi Note 13 Pro 5G smartphone worth CZK 8,990 (8 GB/ 256 GB). The author of the second best photo will win a Xiaomi Watch S1 GL smart watch worth CZK 4,990.
6. The winner will be contacted by the organizer of the competition through his profile on the given social network in order to obtain an address for sending the prize, no later than 12 hours after the end of the competition. Winner’s name in shape first name + last name, including the winning photo, will be announced in a separate article on the smartmania.cz website after the end of the competition, with which the participant of the competition agrees and confirms his consent by participating in the competition.
7. There will be a total of three competition rounds. Each person can participate in a given competition round only once, i.e. three times in total. The organizer reserves the right to delete duplicate or fraudulent entries, competitors who fall into the category specified in paragraph 13 of these rules.
8. The organizer of the competition undertakes to use the data provided by the contestants only for the evaluation of the competition and not for any other purposes. The data we obtain from the winner (name, surname, address, telephone number and e-mail) will be used only for the purpose of sending the prize. When processing personal data, the Organizer proceeds in accordance with Act No. 110/2019 Coll., on the processing of personal data, as amended.
9. No financial compensation can be received for the prize and it cannot be legally enforced. Contestants and winners are not entitled to reimbursement of costs associated with participation in the competition or to any other performance by the Organizer. Furthermore, the organizer has the right to prematurely end the competition at any time without giving a reason.
10. The winner acknowledges that the prize may have tax consequences for him, and that acceptance and use of the prize may be associated with obligations according to applicable legal regulations.
11. In the event that the winner does not respond to the message informing about the win within 48 hours of its sending by the Organizer, a new winner will then be selected and the original winner’s claim to the prize will cease.
12. The organizer is not responsible for any technical error during the implementation of the competition or for the delivery of the winning message.
13. Employees and associates of SMARTmania s.r.o., editors of the SMARTmania.cz server and persons in a working or similar relationship with the organizer are excluded from the competition. The competitor is responsible for ensuring that the competition entry does not violate applicable laws, does not contradict good morals, does not promote ideology or pornographic content and does not damage the good name of the Organizer.
