Undersecretary Fernando Blanco Muiño Highlights Success of “Cuota Simple” Program at Federal SME Meeting

The Undersecretary of Consumer Defense and Commercial Loyalty, Fernando Blanco Muiñodetailed that between 20% and 25% of credit card purchases are made with the “Cuota Simple” program.

“Simple fee accompanies consumption. Between 20% and 25% of credit card purchases are made with this program,” said Blanco Muiño, when participating in the first Federal SME Meeting of the year organized by the Argentine Confederation of Medium Enterprises. (CAME) at its headquarters.

In addition, he highlighted the role of CAME in the design of Quota Simple, aimed at promoting sales in 3 and 6 fixed installmentswhich came into effect on February 1.

Muiño also highlighted the repeal of 69 internal trade regulations given that “some were from another time, others due to overlaps” and announced that the Undersecretariat will advance in the study of value chains, something that CAME has been demanding for years.

“We will demonstrate the tax impact of each chain, how many taxes are collected and who keeps them,” he said.
