It will be the first interview that a Western journalist does with Putin in nearly two years.
The interview will be published on the platform X and the media startup TuckerCarlson.com.
“Most Americans have no idea why Putin invaded Ukraine or whatever his goal is now. … Americans have a right to know everything they can about a war they are involved in and we have a right to tell them about it,” said Carlson in a video from Moscow that was published on his own site.
He also states that he asked the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky about an interview.
