Rudi MF, IIMS 2024 Project Manager, explained that the exhibition location distribution scheme this year is not much different from last year. 4-wheeled vehicles occupy Hall D, while 2-wheeled vehicles are in Hall C. “The electric motorbike market is also in Hall C, which last year was attended by 11 brands, this year it has increased to 15 brands,” said Rudi.

Indie rock band The Adams entertained visitors to the 2023 Indonesia International Motor Show automotive exhibition at the Infinite Live vehicle on Friday (17/2/2023). This year, IIMS also presents another music stage with stars such as Tulus, Mahalini, Ari Lasso, and Dewa 19.
The outdoor area is used for a number of activities, the main ones being test rides and musical performances. Every evening, starting at 20.45, visitors can come to the entertainment stage area, which will include, among others, Kahitna, Ari Lasso, Andre Taulany and Friends, Maliq & D’Essentials, Tulus, Mahalini, and Dewa 19 featuring Ello. This music performance area is equipped with a tribune, so the total audience capacity reaches 8,000 people.
Some other outdoor entertainment activities are karting competitions, off-road attractions from the Indonesia Offroad Federation (IOF), large-scale remote control car events, historical car motorcades, and preaching events. The sky bridge facilities are also still maintained. Overall, the IIMS 2024 event occupies an area of 133,547 square meters.

A number of brand holding agents promise to present superior products in their respective booths. In the 4-wheeled arena, the IIMS 2024 celebration is an introduction event for the public for brands that have just entered Indonesia. These new brands are BYD and Vinfast. Rifkie Setiawan from Chery Indonesia confirmed that they will sell their newest model, the electric-powered compact SUV Omoda E5 at the IIMS 2024. “We just launched this product, and immediately received positive responses from dealer friends. “Demand is high,” said Rifkie. During the IIMS, the price of the Omoda E5 is set at IDR 488.8 million for the first 1,000 buyers.
Chery will also launch its newest product, namely a medium-sized SUV called Tiggo 5X. This new model will be available for trial units. Other models marketed at IIMS are the Omoda 5 RZ, Omoda GT AWD, and Tiggo Pro 7 and Tiggo Pro 8.
