The Ukrainian Premier League is launching a new sports channel – UPL TV, which will be distributed by 1+1 media distribution. “1+1” media reported this in its press release.
The official broadcast of the first match will take place on February 23. It will be possible to watch the TV channel as part of basic subscriptions on both OTT platforms and cable TV and the DTH platform Viasat.
As part of the cooperation, UPL will be responsible for content creation, and 1+1 media will be responsible for the distribution of the TV channel. There are plans to fully launch the TV channel from the start of the 2024/25 season in July, along with additional analytical programs, pre-match and post-match studios, reviews, interviews with players, coaches and leaders of Ukrainian football.

Despite difficult conditions, sport continues to occupy an important place in the hearts of Ukrainian fans, so we will make every effort to restore football television broadcasting. The goal of our cooperation with UPL is the distribution of the TV channel and its content, therefore our distribution will cover various broadcast channels: OTT platforms, cable TV and paid satellite broadcasting“, commented Andrey Malchevsky, director of the distribution and development department of the 1+1 media broadcasting network.
The content of the UPL TV channel includes live broadcasts of matches of the Ukrainian championship, unique programs and archived games of the Ukrainian football championships of past years. Gradually, the library will expand and be filled with new products and live broadcasts.
