The main thing about the attack:
- Russian troops attacked Ukraine in several waves, firing missiles from Tu-95MS and Tu-22M3. The enemy also used ballistics, and before that launched “Shaheds”.
- The rocket in the Lviv region was flying in the direction of Poland. At a distance of 20 km to the border, it turned 180 degrees. Three Polish F-16s flew out to intercept the missile.
- Kyiv. Explosions were heard, air defense was working. Due to the fall of debris in the Dnieper region, there are people who have suffered, there is also an emergency power outage. The mayor reported damage to 2 high-voltage lines. In the Goloseevsky district, a high-rise building, cars and a service station are on fire. In addition, the heating main on the left bank of the capital was damaged.
- Kyiv region. There were explosions. Partial destruction of private residential buildings and structures occurred in two areas.
- Kharkiv. Hit in Slobodsky district. There is damage to non-residential infrastructure.
- Nikolaev. There are hits from rockets and Shaheeds. About 20 houses and water supply networks were damaged. A fire broke out on a section of an underground gas pipeline, as well as on the territory of an infrastructure facility. There are wounded and dead.
- Cherkasy region. There were explosions.
- Explosions were heard in Drohobych (Lviv region).
What did the enemy use?
According to the commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valery Zaluzhny, the enemy carried out several attacks on the territory of Ukraine, using various means of air attack – attack UAVs, cruise, ballistic and anti-aircraft guided missiles.
A total of 64 air attack weapons were used:
- 20 “Shaheds” (Chauda – Crimea);
- 29 X-101/X-555/X-55 cruise missiles from ten Tu-95MS strategic aviation aircraft (launches – Engels, Caspian Sea);
- four Kh-22 cruise missiles from Tu-22M3 bombers (launch area Sevastopol, Kursk);
- three sea-launched cruise missiles “Caliber” from carriers in the Black Sea (launch area – Novorossiysk);
- three Iskander-M ballistic missiles (launched from Cape Tarkhankut – Crimea, Voronezh region – Russian Federation);
- five S-300 anti-aircraft guided missiles (launch area – Belgorod region – Russian Federation).
As a result of combat work, 44 air targets were destroyed by fire weapons of the Air Force and Defense Forces:
- 26 X-101/X-555/X-55 cruise missiles;
- 3 cruise missiles “Caliber”;
- 15 “Shaheds”.
Kyiv
In Kyiv, during the air raid, air defense was active; about 20 X-101/X-555/X-55 missiles were shot down over the capital and in the region, which entered Kiev in several waves in different directions.
But there are also consequences due to falling debris in the Dnieper, Desnyansky and Goloseevsky districts.
In particular, in the Goloseevsky district there was a fire in an 18-story building on several floors. There are people injured. Cars and service stations also caught fire in the area.
In addition, in the Dnieper region, debris damaged high-voltage lines. Due to which there is an emergency power outage in the area. People were left without light.
In total, there were 9 casualties in the capital as a result of the enemy attack. Six people have already been hospitalized from a high-rise building in the Goloseevsky district. Among them is a pregnant woman. Emergency services are on the scene. Two more victims were hospitalized in the Dnieper region. And one was treated by doctors on the spot. Also in the capital, the heating main on the left bank of the capital was damaged. Experts are figuring out the scale.
At 9:15, DTEK reported that within three to four hours they would restore the houses to backup power sources, and by the end of the day they planned to resume normal operation of the power grids.
(Updated 10:02). The number of victims in Kyiv increased to 13.
According to the mayor of the city, Vitaliy Klitschko, a total of 13 people were injured in the capital as a result of the enemy attack.
10 of them, including a pregnant woman, were hospitalized in the Goloseevsky district.
Three people were injured in the Dnieper region. Two of them were hospitalized, one was treated by doctors on the spot.
(Updated 11:30). The number of people injured due to a rocket attack in the capital has increased to 21 people. KGVA confirmed the death of three people.
According to the Office of the Prosecutor General, among the dead were a 73-year-old woman and a 33-year-old man.

According to information from the State Emergency Service, four residents of a house in the Goloseevsky district were killed.
We are also talking about 32 victims in the Goloseevsky district and three in the Dnieper district.

Kharkiv
In Kharkov, shelling with S-300 missiles began at 6:00, hits were recorded in the Slobodsky district. The enemy struck at least four times.
There is damage to non-residential infrastructure. A 52-year-old woman was slightly injured.
Nikolaev
The Russians attacked Nikolaev with “Shaheds” and missiles. There are two locations of damage – a private residential sector and an infrastructure facility. In the first, about 40 private houses were damaged. The rocket hit the road, creating a large crater. Houses were damaged by the blast wave. A man died due to severe injuries, and several other people were injured.
As for the territory of the infrastructure facility, there was a hit to a building and a fire broke out on a technical structure. The fire has now been localized.
There is damage to gas and water mains in the city.

Drohobych
There were also hits in the Lviv region. This is an industrial facility in Drohobych. Partial destruction of the building was recorded there. The fire continues on an area of about 300 square meters. Firefighters are at the scene.
As of now, there is no information about casualties or deaths.
In addition, the Air Defense Forces shot down one missile in the Stryi region. There are no casualties or injuries. Damaged objects too.
Also in the Lviv region, 400 meters from houses, fragments of a rocket were found that did not detonate.
According to the head of the Lviv Regional Military Administration, Maxim Kozitsky, in one of the villages of the Nikolaev community of the Stryisky district, fragments of an undetonated rocket were found in a field, 400 meters from residential buildings.
“This is the missile that our Air Defense Forces brought down. Explosive technicians went to the site,” Kozitsky noted.
Novomoskovsk
In Novomoskovsk, Dnepropetrovsk region, almost all municipal equipment was destroyed due to a night attack
Local authorities reported that enemy drones hit a company that is engaged in the improvement of the city.
Also in the morning, a missile was shot down in the Pavlograd region, but there are “arrivals” of an infrastructure facility. No casualties.

What was the last attack?
Let us recall that before this, Russian troops massively attacked Ukraine on January 23. Then Kyiv, Kharkov and Pavlograd came under attack. The enemy fired 41 missiles at Ukraine, most of them flying along a ballistic trajectory. The air defense forces then managed to hit 21 enemy targets. However, as a result of the attack, 12 people were killed and there was destruction and casualties. Most of the victims were in Kharkov, where a high-rise building was completely destroyed.
