On the last day of competition, Zhejiang teenager Sun Yujie won the first place in the women’s 25-meter pistol final with a world record score of 42. Another Zhejiang player Feng Sixuan ranked fourth.
In the 10-meter air rifle final on February 5, Zhejiang player Han Jiayu won the first place in the women’s group. The top three in the finals of this event were all contestants from Zhejiang, with Wang Zhilin ranking third. The finals were between Han Jiayu and Wang Zifei.
Han Jiayu shot 10.8 and 10.7 in the last two shots, and finally won the gold medal in this event with 254.8, 0.6 ahead of his opponent. It is worth mentioning that the results of Han Jiayu and Wang Zifei exceeded the world record of 254.0 rings in the finals of this event. This record was previously held by Han Jiayu.

In the 10-meter air rifle mixed team trial held earlier, Zhejiang player Huang Yuting reversed Hubei player Liu Yafei in the final and finally won the women’s championship. Wang Zhilin lost to Shanghai’s Fan Xinqi 13:17 in the mixed team bronze medal match; the men’s championship was won by Tokyo Olympic mixed team champion Yang Haoran.
Currently, according to the schedule of the Paris Olympics, the first gold medal will be produced in shooting or diving. The shooting 10-meter air rifle mixed team competition will be held from 10:30 to 11:50 on July 27, 2024; the medal competition of the women’s synchronized 3-meter springboard diving will start at 11:00 that day and is expected to end at 12:00. The end times of the two games differed by 10 minutes. Taking into account possible changes in the actual competition, the first gold medal will be awarded in shooting or diving. Both of these are the defending events of the Chinese delegation and have strong gold medal potential.
