At the request of the District Prosecutor’s Office-Sliven, a remand measure was taken in relation to R.S. She is accused of causing minor bodily harm to her husband, and the act was committed in the context of domestic violence. The crime was committed on February 4, 2024 in the city of Sliven. It is qualified under Article 131, Paragraph 1, Item 5a, in conjunction with Article 130, Paragraph 1 of the Criminal Code.
During the investigation, it was determined that the bodily harm was caused after a dispute arose. R.S. struck by throwing a Tesla at her husband’s head. During the pre-trial proceedings, evidence is collected in view of data pointing to previous acts of aggression of the accused towards the victim.
The decision of the District Court-Sliven is subject to appeal before the District Court in the city.
