WARTAKOTALIVE.COM MATARAM — The presidential and vice presidential candidate pair number 1, Anies Baswedan-Muhaimin Iskandar (AMIN) will hold an open campaign at the Jakarta International Stadium (JIS) on Sunday (10/2/2024).
The former Governor of DKI Jakarta appealed to the millions of volunteers who will come to maintain the safety, health and good name of AMIN supporters.
He also asked volunteers to help secure votes after voting hours.
“Then take care of your health, our most important struggle is to encourage more people to vote on February 14 and secure votes after voting time, that is the most important struggle,” explained Anies at the Karangpule Public Square, Sekarbela, Mataram, NTB, Tuesday (6/ 2/2024).
Even though he doesn’t yet know the exact number of supporters who will come to the international standard stadium, Anies and his winning team will anticipate the possibility of volunteers coming in large numbers.
“We don’t know how many will come, the important thing is that we anticipate a large number and I hope that everyone will be given convenience, don’t make things difficult because they are coming to exercise their constitutional rights. So this is the right of citizens to provide convenience and I entrust it to those who are leaving to protect their names OK,” he explained.
As previously reported, sympathizers and supporters were ready to welcome the arrival of presidential candidate number 1 Anies Baswedan in Mataram City, West Nusa Tenggara (NTB), Tuesday (6/2/2024).

Based on Wartakotalive.com’s monitoring, at around 08.35 WITA volunteers from supporting parties such as the NasDem Party, the Prosperous Justice Party (PKS), the National Awakening Party (PKB), and the Ummat Party flocked to the Karangpule Public Square, Sekarbela, Mataram, NTB.
They came wearing t-shirts that said AMIN or the abbreviation for the couple Anies Baswedan and Muhaimin Iskandar alias Cak Imin.
Volunteers also wore attributes such as hats, carried party flags, and orange balloons typical of the PKS party.
There are also billboards that read “Amin Only Has Prayers, No Uncles in MK”. Shouts of “Anies President” echoed in the Karangpule Public Square.
The volunteers who came came from various regions starting from Sumbawa, Bima, Bali and others. Apart from that, the arrival of the former Governor of DKI Jakarta will be greeted by traditional Lombok music, namely Gendang Beleq.
Beleq drums were previously used to provide encouragement when accompanying or welcoming troops to war.
Beleq drums are thought to have appeared in the 14th century AD or around a hundred years after the eruption of Mount Samalas or Rinjani. (m27)
