According to the investigation, before being recruited by the Russian intelligence service, each of the defendants was an active participant in pro-Kremlin groups in popular messengers.
Thus, they came to the attention of the FSB, which then remotely attracted them to cooperation.
To communicate with the agents, their Russian curator created an anonymous chat for each of them, from which all read correspondence was deleted.
Who was part of the agent network
Among those detained was an official from a department of one of the city councils of the Donetsk region. In addition to her, there were two more enemy agents in the area – the ex-head of a local utility company and a resident of Kramatorsk.
Another member of the enemy group turned out to be a process engineer at one of the defense enterprises in Zaporozhye. The defendant “leaked” intelligence data on the repair of military equipment at the plant’s production facilities to the FSB.
Another Russian agent turned out to be an official of a transport company from the Odessa region. At the direction of the Russian intelligence service, he collected information about the possible transfer of SUVs to the needs of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
What information did they pass on to the occupiers?
The attackers were scouting the places of greatest concentration of personnel and military equipment of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the front-line territories. The defendants also tried to discover warehouses with ammunition and fuel and lubricants of the Defense Forces.
In addition, they were interested in geolocations and operating features of industrial facilities where heavy weapons of the Ukrainian troops are repaired.

At the same time, the henchmen of the occupiers collected information about the consequences of enemy arrivals and “verified” the coordinates for new Russian missile attacks.
“For the sake of secrecy, the participants of the Russian agents acted separately from each other, but were “accountable” to the single curator of the enemy group – a career FSB officer. His identifying information is already known,” writes the SBU.
What threatens FSB agents?
During the searches, the detainees’ mobile phones, which they used for correspondence with the FSB, were confiscated.
Investigators informed the defendants of suspicion of high treason committed under martial law. The perpetrators are in custody. They face life imprisonment.
Law enforcement officers are looking for traitors
Recently, law enforcement officers in Vinnitsa detained an enemy agitator who supported infidels and denied killing people in Bucha, Kyiv region.
Also, another henchman of the Russians was caught in the Nikolaev region. He “handed over” Ukrainians to the occupiers and helped the invaders check local residents at checkpoints.
