It has been speculated for a while that at least some of the games under the thumb of Microsoft will also be heading to other platforms. Initially only Hi-Fi Rush and Sea of Thieves were discussed. According to server resources Xboxera however, it looks like it won’t just be these two pieces, but also the sandbox RPG Starfield, which came out last year and was received relatively positively by Bethesda game standards. According to speculations, the game is supposed to move to PlayStation 5, where it will appear only after the release of the upcoming Shattered Space DLC, which is expected to be released later this year. In practice, this could mean that the title will arrive on this platform during 2025.
In the case of Hi-Fi Rush, the gaming community on other platforms will have to wait less than Starfield fans. This trick is to be released on Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 5, already in the first quarter of 2024. How it will be with Sea of Thieves is still a question. What is interesting about the whole situation is that, according to some sources, the title Indiana Jones and the Great Circle should also be related. It should initially be released as an exclusive on PC and Xbox Series X/S, after which it would also be ported to PlayStation 5 after a few months. Microsoft should share the exact information later this month, so we’ll see which of the speculations will become reality and which will be questioned.
scoop: Microsoft is considering bringing Indiana Jones to PS5, several months after the Xbox / PC release. It’s part of a new Xbox strategy inside Microsoft that’s emerging. Details below 👇
