Considered the main defendant in the case, the Super Dragões cheerleader is the last to be heard, among the seven who expressed a desire to speak. Madureira is suspected of having premeditated and operationalized the silencing of the voices of the internal opposition during the extraordinary general assembly (AG) last November.
The Public Ministry (MP) now has new evidence that incriminates Madureira. These are the audio, video and written messages that were seized on the cell phones of four of the defendants. These contents, which come from the first expert opinion carried out on the equipment of Vítor Catão or Fernando Saul, in addition to Tiago Aguiar and another defendant, will attest to the premeditated use of violence to silence opponents during the GA.
“They defined what should be put into practice so that they could obtain the approval of the amendment to the statutes for the benefit of everyone involved and without loss of benefits, namely seeing their earnings from ticketing for football matches guaranteed”, guarantees the MP, which says that changing the statutes was important for the interests of the club’s current management.
The PSP investigation believes that, to guarantee the objective, the suspects wanted to place a “human mass controlled by them” in the space reserved for the general meeting, which caused agitation and embarrassment among members who wanted to freely exercise their right to vote.
Fernando Saul must also be heard by the judge today. The defendant asked the court to be questioned again.
