The Antofagasta Culture House (Juan José Latorre #2535) is filled with local Holistic Art, thanks to “Empathy”, the exhibition by Tocopillano artist, photographer and designer Chris Galleguillos who highlights the theme through art and photography of mental health.
Visiting the exhibition will force the viewer to travel through the minds of those who suffer from some emotional disorder such as apathy, depression, dissociation, euphoria, lies, anxiety and fear, making ambitious contrasts with a trip to the 7 deadly sins .
This artistic exhibition mainly seeks self-recognition, “To provide tools to identify those conflicts that the mouth silences, but the mind does not remain silent, knowing your present, makes you understand your past, taking the past without resentment and releasing the idea of idealizing the future, of in such a way that we live calmly in the present, without fear of the future,” said Morrisgan.
Dates
The works will already be on display from February 5, however, the official opening will be on Wednesday, February 7 starting at 10 am. The public will be able to see Chris Morrisgan’s work until February 17.
Schedules
The public will have this free exhibition at their disposal and can visit it from Monday to Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. and on Saturdays from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
