Early on Sunday morning around 4:30 a.m., an 18-year-old man was on the roadway of the A 7 motorway between the Hittistetten motorway triangle and the Nersingen junction for reasons that are still unknown.
The vehicle of a 64-year-old and the car of a 61-year-old woman collided with the young man, who suffered serious injuries. The 18-year-old died at the scene of the accident. The public prosecutor’s office, informed of the facts, ordered blood samples to be taken, an expert to be called in and a vehicle involved in the accident to be seized.
The fire brigades from Senden and Weißenhorn were on site with a number of vehicles. The road remained completely closed for over four hours for rescue and accident recording.
